When you register for a Run Albion event, you are giving back to the Albion community. With the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to cover the cost of the entire series. Each registration fee is then used as a donation to a local nonprofit organization that provides course volunteers. In 2023 Run Albion donated over $3,000 across five different nonprofits.

Run The Rock

“The Rock” is at the center of Albion College’s campus located on the Quad. The Run the Rock event passes right by and even though you’ll be going by so fast to see how many layers of paint make the rock what it is today, you’ll be able to feel the history that each layer brings to what makes Albion College special.

Entry fee: Fee is $30 until Thursday, 4/24. Fee is $40 on race day with no swag guarantee
5K Run/Walk. The 5K is open to strollers and dogs. Kids Fun Run is free.

History Hustle

You would never guess that Albion was the Sunday night hang out for the infamous Purple Gang or the two sons that started Mother’s Day gave their first Mother’s Day speech in Goodrich Chapel but throughout the History Hustle, you’ll learn fun facts about Albion’s history and pass by locations where history happened.

The Michigan Running Foundation will professionally time the race. Your accurate chip time, current overall, and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. Results will be posted on this race website and online at Runmichigan.com
Forks 5k

Two branches of the Kalamazoo River coming together into one at the center of Albion and the river provides the perfect setting for Victory Park, one of Albion’s prized possessions. The Forks 5K coincides with Albion’s annual Festival of the Forks. Don’t just run on Friday night and skip town, instead, stay and enjoy wonderful food and music all day on Saturday during the Festival of the Forks.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and posted on this website.
Foundry Mile
September 2025
“The Foundry Mile” is a one-of-a-kind event in Albion! We are feeling the need for speed and have found the perfect route that leads runners into town on a mostly downhill route. The finish line will be just outside Foundry Bakehouse and Deli at the corner of E. Erie and S. Superior Street.
When registering, all runners will be asked to submit their fastest 1-Mile or 1600 Time. The 10 fastest times will be selected to participate on race day. Runners who are selected to participate will be notified 1 week prior to the race.
Race Time: 9:00 AM Elite Men’s Race 9:15 AM Elite Women’s Race
Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 – 8:30AM at the corners of Ash and Superior Streets, 415 S. Superior Street
